Saccharine Landscapes is an immersive installation exploring the intersection of taste and architectural space. Using modular sugar structures, Gao Panpan constructs an evolving miniature topography that invites viewers to reflect on transient pleasure and sensory alienation within the act of consumption.

My work resides in the delicate space between creation and decay. By using sugar and organic matter, I build structures meant to be unmade. The installation is not the final state; the act of consumption is. It is a dialogue of the senses where the audience becomes part of the art's expiration.
